David Burrows post about the interview on Facebook:
🎉 Meet Dana Pitts - From Nova Scotia to Sarnia, Ontario, Dana's journey is a tale of dedication and passion! 🧑🚒
A proud alum of St. Patrick’s High and the Ontario Fire College, Dana climbed the ladder of the Ontario Fire Service for 35 years, earning his Chief Fire Officer designation before retiring as Deputy Chief at Sarnia Fire Rescue. 🚒👨🚒
Now, he's switched his helmet for a pen. 📚 Dana’s lifelong love for storytelling, inspired by his mom Helen (a former Grammar School teacher), has led him to become a first-time author. Besides writing, he's got a knack for photography, travel, and gourmet cooking—he even co-owned the Small Batch Cafe in Kingston, Ontario! 🍳📸✈️
With two kids, five grandkids, and a heart full of stories, Dana now calls Milford, Nova Scotia home. 🏡✨
