Take part in the pre-Canada Day celebrations in the Point! Today from 4pm-8pm, head over to Point Edward’s Waterfront Park, located under the Bluewater Bridges.
The Village of Point Edward is abuzz with excitement as Canada Day approaches. The community is celebrating their nation's birthday early and in true Canadian spirit.
The lakefront will be transformed into a festive carnival, inviting people to stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the breathtaking views. The company of friends and neighbours will add warmth to the celebration.
To keep everyone entertained, there will be face painting by The Painted Cat, giant inflatables, balloon creations by Twisted Chris, games, live music by What She Said, a community recognition of the contributions from the OLG to the Village and more!!
Join with your family and friends to celebrate! Enjoy the free pizza and cupcakes provided. And when the time comes, join in a chorus of "O Canada" to pay tribute to the communities we call home.
So pack up your lawn chairs and blankets and join in the celebration, ‘picnic style’ on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron in the Village of Point Edward!
Happy Canada Day!
