It’s the beginning of August and while the looming “end of summer” panic is starting to set in, there is still lots of summer left here in Sarnia Lambton to travel the County, take in some of the most breathtaking summer spots in the world, and visit all our amazing, unique businesses.
I recently celebrated the anniversary of my first year as the new CEO with the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce and while I have always known that the Sarnia Lambton business landscape is a thriving one, this last year has truly opened my eyes to the extent of this landscape. Sarnia Lambton businesses have proven time and time again to be some of the most resilient, community-minded, innovative, and successful businesses across the globe, and I am grateful to live and work amongst them.
The post-covid face of business not only looks different but is continually evolving…and the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce continues to evolve alongside our members. It is my ongoing mission to listen closely to what the needs of our current members, past members and future members are and to provide the utmost value of membership to every member.
So, what is the buzz about the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce and why should ALL businesses join?
The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce plays a crucial role in supporting and promoting local businesses. As the leading organization that represents businesses in Sarnia Lambton, we have a unique insight into the opportunities and challenges that exist here.
We provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and advocacy. Our regular events and educational workshops bring together entrepreneurs, professionals, and decision-makers, fostering connections and facilitating knowledge sharing.
In addition to networking opportunities, the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce actively advocates for the interests of businesses at all levels of government. We work closely with policymakers to ensure that the business environment remains conducive for growth and development. We actively promote and support startups and small businesses through various initiatives, member to member connections, referrals to local community partners for business development and labour resources, access to resources through the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, access to exclusive members only benefit plan, business masterminds exclusively for members, member to member discounts, advertising opportunities, and so much more. We believe that fostering a culture of innovation is essential for the long-term economic sustainability of our region.
